Good day peeps! I am back! Like usual, I will be sharing with all of you about what I have learned in the Internet class. As for this week, just like the previous week, our lecturer Madam Azidatunnoor had given us the chance to further our discussions and progress on our Smart Builder assignment.  The outcome of our discussions was good as we managed to split the task evenly and got each of us searching and striving for better ideas. Good day peeps! I'm back! Like always, I am going to make a new post to keep you guys updated with my main activity for this subject weekly. As for our class this week, we were asked by our lecturer to show our progress for the SmartBuilder assignment weekly starting from this week. So, we began our progress by discussing on what to work on for this assignment.  After the discussion, we consulted our lecturer on our chosen topic, theme and plans. Our chosen topic was verb and noun. The theme that we chose was animals in the jungle. Thankfully, our lecturer approved our topic and we were able to proceed with our next plan for the next consultation next week. That is all for my post this week! Have a great Thursday peeps! Good day peeps! I am back! First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me the strength to endure another long and tough week for this semester. Yes, it is week 9 already and gratefully, I am still going strong all thanks to Him ❤ Anyways as for this week, our dearest lecturer Madam Azidatunnoor taught us something new and interesting. We were taught on something called SmartBuilder. So, what is SmartBuilder? SmartBuilder is the fastest e-learning authoring tool for creating serious e-learning including scenarios, gamification, branching, assessments and more. In this week, we were taught on the functions of SmartBuilder and how to use it. Some of the functions that were taught to us were on how to make the button logo works, how to insert images and make it move in different style, how to make the page changes from one to another and how to insert an audio to the button logo. Some groups also went for an in-class consultation with Madam to show their progress on their powtoon project. As for my group, we decided to continue with our discussion and work on our powtoon. Canva is a website that is created to allow people to create or modify their own design on posters, headers, posts and covers in almost everything! On this website, we can design headers, posters, and posts for our social media, blogs, marketing materials, events, ads and more! We are given a lot of choices on the templates that come from various categories. Besides using the templates provided, we can also upload a picture of our own choice to modify the design of the templates. It has been a hectic and long week again as we were required to complete a lot of task within days and unfortunately, I fell ill along the way which resulted to my absence for this week's class. Powtoon is a company on online software for creating animated presentations and animated explainer videos. I find it very interesting as we can actually learn something vital in a fun and amazing way! Good day peeps! I am back! Like always, I will be updating more on what I have learned in the Internet Technologies class. It has been a long week but the Internet Technologies class has always been a fun one 😄 As for this week, we have been taught on the usage of podcasts and digital storytelling in language learning. In this new topic, we learned that podcast is an audio or/and video file that can be downloaded to a computer or mobile device. In language teaching, students can listen to an existing podcast or make one of their own.  To do podcasting, one must have an online voice recorder or a smartphone. After recording, one can download their recording to various podcast medium like the YouTube, iTunes, SoundCloud or Blog. Good day everyone! Another week, another lesson! Internet Technologies class is back with another fun and informative session for us! As for the first class in this third week, we were taught with a new topic entitled Search Engines and Online Database. In this topic, we learned various of new things like what is world wide web, parts of the search engine, and what is the deep web as well as the dark web. We were also exposed to another topic entitled Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and ESL. As for this topic, we get to learned new things like Asynchronous CMC and Synchronous CMC. We also get to know that in the late 2000s, CMC was implemented for long distance learning which enables the teacher and the learner to interact without being in the same location. Besides long distance learning, we also learned about collaborative learning which helps to improve peer interactions and group work.
